DOP Analyses

The Dilution of Precision (DOP) Analyses return the HDOP, VDOP, GDOP and TDOP for the User Receivers defined. Results are presented as statistics on the maximum, minimum, average and 95-percentile DOP for each user receiver.

These analyses can be run over an area or for some specific user locations. The following map illustrates the maximum HDOP expected for the Galileo constellation.


The Global or Regional Availability of DOP Analysis returns the percentage of time that a DOP value is below a user specified threshold for each node in the grid. Availability of DOP is calculated for TDOP, PDOP, GDOP, HDOP and VDOP.
